Building to bring the gospel
The Lord has given us not only a biblical calling but a vision and a heart to care for the orphaned and vulnerable children. We are partnered with a pastor in Uganda that we are working side by side with to provide food, clothing, education and most importantly the love of Abba Father. Our aim is to build a building that can withstand time and the elements and allow the program to grow and serve the community for generations.
Discipleship
Cultivating new sprouts
From the beginning, God has had the whole world on His heart and has worked to raise up people to carry out The Great Commission. At the heart of For the One is to answer that call. "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations." Matthew 28:19. Our heart is to help restore Lira, Uganda by providing resources. One of the first steps will be to build a mission house that will allow teams to visit, stay, but most importantly teach the kids and surrounding communities about discipleship.
Stewardship
Transforming Lives
The essence of stewardship is about finding your place in God’s economy of all things. We are called, as followers of Christ, to use all the gifts placed into our lives, including time, talents, spiritual gifts, relationships, creation, income and assets. This is what it means to make the kingdom of God visible and tangible to the world. We feel a call on our lives to steward the gifts God has given us to transform lives in Lira, Uganda.
Who We Are
Our DNA is Jesus, living through us, using our hands and feet to care for those in need, so that when we share his name, they have already experienced his character through us-his body. Our aim is to bring Heaven to Earth (Matthew 6:10), empower the Body of Christ to build itself up (Galatians 6:10), care for those He cares about (Psalm 82:3, Isaiah 1:17, James 1:27, Matthew 25:40), and share His good news with everyone (Matthew 28:18-20).

The Refuge Center!

We are so excited to begin our next campaign: The Refuge Center! A few months ago we purchased land near the School House to build The Refuge Center (RC)! The RC will be run by our local partners, Pastor Charles and Moreen to provide shelter for children in need as the Lord leads us. This will also be a place to host mission teams when the time comes! We are so excited to see what God has planned for the RC! We have a goal to raise $200,000 in 2025 to see this dream come to life!
